This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected through our website, applications, registration forms, email, telephone, video calls, meetings, events, matchmaking services and other communications. Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect identity information, contact information, profile and matchmaking information, verification information, communications, booking and transaction information, technical information and marketing preferences. We only seek information reasonably relevant to providing, administering and improving our services.

Matchmaking is highly personal. During an application, Intake Session or other conversation, you may voluntarily disclose special category personal data, including information relating to racial or ethnic origin, religion, health or sexual orientation. We do not require unnecessary sensitive information. Where we rely on explicit consent, it will be specific, informed and separately recorded.

4. How We Use Personal Data

We may use personal data to register and manage accounts, review applications, provide Intake Session, carry out verification, administer Membership, understand values and preferences, consider and arrange introductions, communicate with you, provide meetings/events and relevant guidance, administer FREE Consultation and Private Package, process payments, provide Client Service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, improve services and send permitted marketing. We do not sell personal data.

5. Lawful Bases

Depending on the activity, QC Connections LTD may rely on Contract, Legitimate Interests, Consent or Legal Obligation. Where special category data is processed, an appropriate additional condition will also be identified and applied.

6. Matchmaking and Introductions

Your personal matchmaking information is not displayed as a public dating profile. Relevant information may be shared with a prospective match only where reasonably necessary and appropriate. Sharing with authorised matchmaking partners or networks requires an appropriate legal basis and, where necessary, your knowledge or consent. We do not guarantee an introduction within any specific period.

7. FREE Consultation — Public Broadcast and Recording

FREE Consultation is intentionally public. It may be streamed live, audio-visually recorded, published on official QCMC Quality Connections Matchmaking HIVE-CLUB channels and made available through streaming, video or social media platforms after the live session. Before applying, you must receive clear information and give explicit affirmative consent on the booking page. Marketing consent is separate. Information you disclose during the public session may become part of the public recording.

8. Private Services

Intake Session, private matchmaking services and private Membership interactions are not public broadcasts and are not intentionally published without separate consent.

9. Payments

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Where a provider processes card or banking details directly, QC Connections LTD may receive transaction confirmation and payment records without receiving or storing complete card details.

10. Sharing Personal Data

Where reasonably necessary, data may be shared with authorised staff and contractors, technology and hosting providers, booking and communication providers, payment providers, professional advisers, authorised matchmaking partners, and regulators/courts/law enforcement where legally required.

11. International Transfers

Because QCMC operates internationally, some providers or systems may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where a restricted transfer occurs, QC Connections LTD will use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards. Use of the website does not constitute blanket consent to unrestricted international transfers.

12. Retention and Security

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for services, matchmaking records, disputes, accounting/tax/regulatory obligations and legal claims. Appropriate organisational and technical security measures are used, although no internet system can guarantee absolute security.
